Dr. Joubin Khorsand is a General Surgeon with a sub-specialty in Surgical Oncology located in The Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

Dr. Khorsand completed his residency at The Metropolitan Group Hospitals affiliated with The University of Illinois in 1980.  He then continued on with a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York.  He established his private practice in 1983 and is presently on staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Dr. Khorsand's special interests include breast disease & breast cancer, hernia repairs, laparoscopic procedures and single site robotic surgery.

Dr. Khorsand was Board Certified in General Surgery by The Amercan Board of Surgery in 1982.  He was re-certified in 2011 and remains Board Certified until 2023.

Dr. Khorsand is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons.  He is a member of The Chicago Medical Society, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and The American Medical Association.

Dr. Khorsand continues to focus on new surgical techniques and procedures to benefit his patients and their conditions.
